i am drinking a huge bowl of espresso and reading this reddit thread because IT IS FASCINATING. if my two options for next fall don’t work out, i would like to become a particle physicist. i’m trying to finish an essay and begin another, and am using tumblr to warm up my brain and finger muscles. both tasks must be finished in the next 12 hours per the rigorous rad school application schedule i set for myself. what else has happened lately? it rained on thursday, hard, but that’s not exciting. i bought new shoes and will hopefully buy new shoes again very soon… also not exciting. lately all i’ve wanted to do is skip work in the mornings and go to a coffee shop and just sit in the special light of the morning to write. ever since daylight savings time, the light here has become late-afternoonish in a soft, golden way, which doesn’t make any sense in words but does in experience. it’s like walking through a really fine, translucent gauze, which i suppose is just another way to think about air.
